How do you recruit for a linguist role with low applications due to a lack of confidence in having to learn a foreign language? Even if you struggled with languages at school, you may still have the ability. A way to unlock any potential is through judging peoples’ ability to pick up lyrics to a song, or zone into a conversation in a noisy room.
Sound Skills was an interactive test designed to assess selective auditory attention (selective hearing). We used binaural sound to create an immersive 3D experience through a standard pair of headphones. Five different scenarios ask the user a question relating to what they heard.
